The Abruzzo Zoo, a unique faunal oasis
Also known as the Rocca San Giovanni wildlife area, this zoo and amusement park has been a destination for many visitors since 2011, thanks to the attention paid by the staff to the wellbeing of the animals present and to the beautiful atmosphere that one can breathe, where education and information on respect for biodiversity and the enhancement of environmental protection strategies are the protagonists.
It is a place that is also popular with children, who are pleasantly surprised at the multitude of animal species present. The zoo also organises educational sessions and many didactic activities with the aim of investigating and revealing curiosities about the species present in the park.
A picnic area, a large free car park, a self-service restaurant and a bar also enrich this facility, located in one of the most picturesque areas of the region.
